The Boss GP 2016 had its final on the legendary circuit of Imola. The titles in the Open class and in Formula class has been awarded in the previous meeting, this is the fight for the runners that would focus attention.
If the team had struggled to pinpoint the right adjustments during the Brno meeting, in Imola Easy Formula’s drivers were very quick as Christopher who has signed the second time during Friday practice .
Unfortunately, the Saturday started badly as the tyre service taught the team that the new tires for the race had not been delivered. Gilles and Christopher had no choice but to drive with the tires used in Brno and all hope of good results soared.
Despite their efforts, Gilles and Christopher could not do better than 11th and 4th in qualifying then 9th and 4th in the race.
The 2016 season of the Formula Easy team remains successful. Christopher won the title in Boss GP Formula and Gilles put himself at an excellent fourth position in the standings.
