The Easy Formula drivers shone during the second meeting of the Maxx series held on the Italian circuit of Monza.
The Monza autodrome, the temple of speed, is a truly atypical circuit and a challenge for any driver, especially when you are behind the wheel of a 750hp single-seater! Added to this was a technical problem for Christopher, which forced him to cut short his qualifying session and prevented him from participating in the first race. Alone to represent the team, Gilles went through a chaotic start to the race where two of the favorites crashed. He then had a solid race which led him straight to the second step of the podium.
With his car repaired, Christopher was able to line up for the the second race. He quickly took the lead in the Advance class and stood up to his competition right up to the finish line. A few weeks after Pierre Gasly, the Marseillaise resounded again above the park of the city of Monza.
The last meeting of the Maxx Formula series will take place on October 17 and 18 on the Magny-Cours circuit.
